Visiting Grado, don’t just spend time in the bars And beaches! The mosaics in this dedicated church and the origin is really overwhelming, also having just visited Aquilea. However, the calm and authentic atmosphere is worth the visit as well.

Just walking around Grado and entered this church, with so many layers of history, late Roman mosaics, and then church built on top of that. Very special feeling!

It hasn't been the first time we visited the Basilica. San't Eufemia is or was a well known Saint in this region. More famous is the Saint Eugenia cathedral in Rovinj, Istria. Anyway, the Romanesque church is beautiful due to its simplicity, mosaics and frescos...More

Nice place to visit, but nothing special, the church is in really good condition. For children it might be boring.
