When I visited I only toured the beautiful and inspirational garden - full of history and an amazing family story. There is a restaurant and accommodation within the estate but I did not have time to see either. We worth finding your way there.

We stopped here while doing the Rick Steve's driving tour in Tuscany. Excellent location. Gardens are beautiful and the tour was interesting. Story connects to WWII. Can't beat the views!

We visited on a Sunday. The tour was well organized and well priced at 10 Euros/person. Guide was very knowledgeable and well paced. A must see if you are in the area of Montepulciano, but check opening dates/times.

This place is stunning. The history alone beckons you to enter. Admittedly you need to arrange to be there for one of the guided tours but it will take your break away.
