One of the key streets in the old part of Cefalu, spoiled (like so much of the town) by tourism. There seem to be innumerable shops selling fridge magnets and restaurants aimed squarely at tourists. The guide books talk about small medieval streets built off...More

What a lively street .. Lined with terraced apartments on top with the washing hanging out and at the bottom eateries of all sorts, including other shops as well. Well it was about 3 in the afternoon and we were hungry so we stopped at...More

Very crowded place. We visit it in April when there is no turist season, and it was like in Taormina.

Leaving the beachfront you come to a sign which orients you for your walk around Cefalu. Along this street are many shops and also many cats! You need to take a jog to the right to go up to the cathedral.

This is the main street. .OK it's fairly narrow, has some nice balconies but that's about it...the rest is just shop fronts selling tourist souvenirs. All,of which seem the same. .look upwards for the best of the street.

This is the main street of Cefalu with lots of shops, cafés and people. This gives you the real feeling of Sicily. Must see!

Lots of different shops trying to relieve your of your money. Typical shops that you would expect to see from a tourist destination. Lots of fruit sellers about great local produce, especially the cherries!

This is the street you walk along day or night in Cefalu. In typical Sicilian fashion it dies at around noon and reopens at about 5pm, then dies again at around 8.30pm. Lots of shops and bars
