About
Aka Palazzo Ducale. Next to (and sharing a ticket with) the Rocca del Leone fortress that you do have listed, but they need to be referenced separately; they are two very different attractions.

A combination ticket purchased at the Palazzo della Corgna ticket office allows you access to both Palazzo della Corgna and La Rocca including an intriguing walk through the covered passage that joins the two. Palazzo della Corgna has fantastic frescoed rooms and is well worth visiting before you take the covered corridor to the Roca. Our suggestion is to check the opening times with the ticket desk because while the website states it is open every day from 09.30 to 19.00 we found they closed and re-opened at seemingly random times.

This is an impressive palazzo with a long history. The ceiling frescos are beautiful and quite intricate. Admission includes the adjacent fortress. Well worth a visit.

We visited Palazzo della Corgna in the afternoon and had the most fabulous time there! We saw the exhibition of Mikhail Koulakov, a Russian modern painter. It was a small exhibit but we found very interesting the building itself, which had stunning frescoes. It was a curious combination of “old” and “new”. Then we took the passage to Rocca del Leone (included in the ticket) and enjoyed a breathtaking view on the lake! The colors were fantastic!!! I highly recommend to come closer to sunset time for this purpose. P.S. The lady at the desk was nice and spoke English (we asked her about the bathroom, which requires the key and is located downstairs; you can also find a snack and soda machine there).

Absolutely incredible frescos in room after room. Was absolutely amazed by the beauty. Eight euros per person entry and included the fee to enter the fort. Very good price for the two

If you're wearing casual clothes you can do what I did and lie on the floor to study the ceiling paintings, though it did get some odd looks. It's a good warm up if you're going to Perugia or Siena and I'll probably go again on my next visit

The rooms are not spectacular, but here are various exhibitions, so it is quite interesting. We have seen a lot of objects from the Etruscan era, so we remembered the lessons of history.

The Palace has some beautiful frescoes. All the exhibits are explained in English. The walkway to the Fortress is really neat. Walking around the Fortress will give you some incredible views of Lake Trasimeno! Well worth a visit.

From the narrow walkways, towers and fab views, what's not to like. Walkable distance for kids (4-5 yo). There is even a wall where kids get to scribble with chalks :)

This is the route to the castle ramparts though a long, narrow, covered passage which is very unusual. The Palace is not that impressive apart from its ceilings and when we visited there was an abstract art exhibition which wouldn’t be to everybody’s liking.

The frescoes tell the story of the life and exploits of Ascanio della Corgna who was an admired soldier in the 1500's , his uncle was Pope Julius 111. This leads to the enclosed walkway up to the Fortress . It was their private home
