Ring on the doorbell of the office opposite for a friendly and highly informative guide around the church and associated convent for a small donation. This is also a dormitory stop on the pilgrimmage to Santiago di Compostela, with clean beds, meals and a shower.

Great and hidden place in Ascoli, if you have a chance have a visit of this grotto and hear the history of Saint Emidio too from local guide.

We had a private tour of the grotto with the president of Sant'Emidio around the world. We learned the history of Sant'Emidio.
