My daughter loves archaeology so this was a must see for us. The ruins range from almost totally destroyed to astonishingly well-preserved. If you struggle in the heat, shuttle buses and taxis are available to take the strain but it's not a tough walk through...More

This is one of the most recommended of attractions in Sicily, and is - accordingly, busy pretty well anytime you go. Its best to get your ticket in advance, but be warned, if there's something in particular that you want to see - check that...More

Blue sky. 40°C. One audioguide. 3 exciting hours. The organization is not perfect. Sometimes it's difficult to find the location of a temple. But very amazing. Don't miss.

Wandering with the ancient Greek. The Concordia Temple is pretty intact. Nice touch was the modern art exhibition of wonderful statues. Ticket office is closed after 1 pm. Parking is cash only!

This is a spectacular archaeological park with multiple very well preserved Classical Greek temples along a walkway, with a view on the sea. It is not a super long distance, but if you cannot walk in the heat you can also take a ride for...More

We went early in the am to avoid the crowd and heat. And it was really enjoyable. Pleasant walk and I thought the temples were more impressive than the ones in Athens.

We personally needed 5h. I think 3h is minimum, if you are fast. It's better to start earlier than at 6.30pm

There is a programme of modern artworks which recreate some of the atmosphere of the original, now lost.
