Poffabro is a small village at the base of Mt. Raut in the Dolomite Mountains in Northeast Italy. It is beautiful and charming. You can drive you car into the center of town and then walk to your destination. There is a Catholic church where you park your car and a restaurant and bar. We went to see this little gem of Friuli Venezia Giulia on St.Stephen's Day and although it was packed with people we had the best day! All around the village were nativities made of different materials, sizes and shapes. Little artisans had their products for sale and some great local food could be bought at stalls around the village. The view of the mountains surrounding the village was breathtaking.…
