Lovely and nice castle. When we visited there was a wedding ceremony on the yard, so we did not disturb them and did not see that side very well.

Ok Italy is full of amazing historic places and here in Formigine village I visited this Amazing little castle in middle of this historic square in face of a Cattolic church. They show that time by time some restoration was done to maintain the origin

As I said in my review of Centro Storico Formigine, we went to a street food festival and had a blast partying with the locals, drinking, eating, singing, and dancing.

Formigine's castle is "my local": I grew up here. It is lovely for a stroll and interesting for children and well-situated in a pleasant pedestrianised area.

Very well maintained and now used as a restaurant and wedding destination, it is particularly beautiful in the late Spring and summer to take a glass of wine, in the shade in the grounds.

Nice garden inside the walls and some geological findings. It is worth a visit, if you don't have to drive a long way.
