This is the 4th Go Ape we have done, all at different venues, and they are always great fun. You get instruction about how to use the ropes and harnesses, the instructor watches you on the first one and then you are good to go. I have to say Delamere was slightly harder than some I’ve done (maybe I’m just getting old) but the course was good and the zip wires always fun. It’s such a good team activity. My only issue is the lack of toilets or food near to go ape as the visitor centre was having work undertaken

Fabulous day out. Mum (46 and overweight) dad and 2 teenagers. I was really nervous but the staff were fantastic, really patient and encouraging. I got stuck on a crossing and the staff came to my rescue really quick and i was soon on my way again. I will say you really need good upper body strength to get across the rope walls and up the ladders. I managed 4 out of 5 sections before running out of steam so if i can do it anyone can 😁

Absolute hoot. You are taken down the Forrest paths with varying degrees of slope. Really good fun. Definitely recommend it. Very helpful staff.

training given before you start the course for about 15 minutes , instuctors there on standby if needed , 5 courses to have a try at , segways available to go around the park , sadly at the moment the cafe is closed due to the pandemic = but it does not stop you having fun at this destination.
