I used to love coming here and took my kids all the time. I always gave a donation or bought something from the café / shop as I appreciate it's a good cause. Recently I'm finding all the chuggers a bit much however and it's...More

It's a nice place but won't be a whole day out there isn't enough to do for the children for a whole day and don't take dogs with you as they aren't allowed in half the places

Sometime since I last visited, I was amazed at all the changes. Definitely worth a visit. The refurbishment, went for a lovely walk, the paths were well maintained. Cafe area and charity shop. Good for children. No entrance fee, donation.

We were in the area and discovered this place. It was a quiet weekday which was nice as we had a good opportunity to stroll round. They are doing such great work and we really enjoyed the animals and the displays.
