Did the zombies on the weekend absolutely brilliant staff make up and costumes awesome would definitely recommend

I attended today with my son and we spent the day as zombies, after reading other reviews I was cautious to how much physical contact there would be but the staff made it clear that they will not tolerate unsafe behaviour, there was a situation where I got hit with a gun, it was an accident but the staff where quick to ensure that I was ok and that it was not done maliciously

I went with my son and son-in-law and joined a group of 20 or so including a small stag do. The event is great fun, there was a briefing by Billie and another instructor who went through safety etc.
We were then taken to a room and briefed on the first of 2 missions, the first being really a training exercise, the second with some challenges to complete.
Then it was on with a body jacket, helmet and laser rifle. The first mission went through 3 rooms, which were dark, smokey and with flashing light. There is a lot of noise and shouting but best of all, a lot of zombies. The zombies will attempt to grab / tackle you but I thought it was all done well with no excessive force but be aware this is physical. The zombies can be disabled with the laser rifles but need a number of hits to put them down.
After the first exercise finished we were briefed on the second with included a few challenges. We split into 2 teams of about 10 and co-operated well to complete the second mission.
At the end we were able to by a link containing about 300 photos of our day for £6 a person so good value.
We all really enjoyed the experience, it works well if you "go for it" and get involved in ridding the world of zombies even if you get taken down a few times in the process!
BTW I'm in my early 60s, fairly fit and found the event physically easy so don't be put off!

Great idea, nicely set out. I thought that maybe there would be more outdoor activities like on youtube videos i had seen. the rooms are very small, with fences held up by heavy blocks. you could easily fall on these and the concrete floor. When you are a zombie you have to basically rugby tackle people to the floor. My mate fell over a Zombie ending up breaking his arm when another Zombie smacked him on the concrete floor. lots of pushing and shoving, potential gun in your face too. Needs more room and less rugby tackles on the bean bags/floor. Also maybe point systems with how many times you shoot the zombies? There were no set scoring at the end, which was pointless setting teams really as no goal to work towards. Great idea and concept but be careful as it isn't for the weak.

Hi there, sorry you wasn't fully satisfied with the experience you had we like everyone to have a great time.
It was very hot the day the Saturday you came hence Billy chose to keep the activities indoors much safer, dehydration and all that.
We have only recently had a snap inspection form Worcestershire Regulatory Services who gave us a thumbs up for the way we do things.
I have spoken to Billy and the team and have looked at the photographs of you and your friend you both looked like you were having a great time. Everyone was fully immersed in the activity so to hear that your friend managed to break his arm is a surprise to us? Generally a broken arm which is pretty severe as fractures go. Somebody from our team would have noticed? Reference rugby tackles etc we do work hard to marshal these events but some guest get a little to immersed in their surrounding. We actually have an image of you rugby tackling another person you have a large grin on your face so evidently its fun.

The staff are incredible. I will actively go out of my way to recommend this to people. If you want to be confused, scared, sweating and laughing all at the same time...this is for you.

Had a stag do here, it was an amazing day. All the staff were super, made the day super memorable. I would definitely recommend it, but make sure you have some average fitness because you are needed to jog, be on your feet up and down stairs.

Me and my friends visited zombie bootcamp as part of a stag do and I could not be more happy about the event! From the very start we were made to feel at ease when the friendly and funny staff came out to meet us. The whole day was well planned, safe but aswell free to have to good fun and get stuck in and tackle survivors as a zombie. I would recommend this to anyone! Id like to give a big thanks to all the staff for making it a memorable day!

We did the zombie boot camp as a stag do group, paired up with another stag do group. The two groups had a great laugh together and it added a lot to the experience.
As the survivors- intense, chaotic zombie film action led by two ex army infantry guys. You’ll be zipped up in body armour, covering your corners, looking out for your mates and hurtling through smoke and flashes of light - fighting off zombies and looking for special objects. Great fun.
What I didn’t expect was how good playing a zombie was- you’re always getting into place for the next attack so it’s a little less intense and hysterically funny. you’re in character, dressed up in fake blood and you’ve got a lot more idea of what’s going on in the room. Meanwhile, the survivors are frantically trying to “shoot” you and complete their mission.
The group had a couple of little aches and bruises the next day but absolutely no regrets - you’re running around and scaring your mates in an assault course in the dark, after all. The team worked their socks off and really put the effort in - well recommended. Thanks a lot guys and good luck!
