I went here with my 3 year old grand daughter on a wet day. The centre was fairly fullbut service for food and drinks was quick and proferssional and the food was pretty good. I had a Pannini and grand daughter had a hotdog that she loved. Out of the 2 and a half hours we were there she was probably with me for 15 minutes eating her lunch, the rest of the time she was making friends and really enjoying herself. An excelent play area on a wet and windy day.

We have taken our son to wild n wacky loads of times and enjoyed many birthday parties there. Until this time. It was a school friends birthday party on a Sunday afternoon. Like normal we decided to go. When we arrived Immediately noticed that it was extremely busy (a lot busier than normal) and there was a lot of birthday parties going on. At first everything was OK. Family and friends enjoying themselves, playing and running around. I noticed that a large group of adults had started to gather near the football area / kids party eating areas. Then after about 15 minutes or so, these (so called) adults started fighting, throwing bottles and chairs around. All in front of the kids, This went on for around 20 min or so. The staff did what they could do to stop it. But it got way out of control. They should have noticed that there was way too many people in the place and should have stopped further people coming in. Pity this happened as our child enjoyed going, not sure if he will want to go back again as he was very traumatised by what happened

Dear Mark, We are so sorry your little boy's visit to his friend's party was disrupted last Sunday. We hope he is starting to get over the worst of his shock. In the 10 years that Wild 'n' Wacky has been open there has never been such an incident. It flared up very quickly between the parents and friends/family of two children who had fallen out whilst playing. The staff did all they could and the total time from the start to when it calmed down was just over 5 minutes. We are absolutely horrified that people could behave this like in a place dedicated to children's play and parties. There can be no justification. The centre was busy, but not at full capacity. We monitor and control entrances using a colour coded wristband system, and use sign in registers for the children's parties and general visitors. However, we are not complacent and are reviewing all our systems to ensure that everyone, old or young, enjoys visiting us, whether to celebrate a birthday or just for a play. And once again, we are so sorry that your little boy had to witness this.

This is a great place to let the kids run around and let off steam. Plenty to do for all ages. Food and drink reasonably priced too. Definitely recommend.

We're really pleased that your grandchildren had a lovely time with us and that you also liked our food and drink! We'd love to know what else we could do to earn the full five stars - if you have any suggestions we always will consider them! Thank you again,

I would like to give the staff of Wild N Wacky a special thank you, especially to Molly (who was our host) for making my Son's birthday party special. All the kids (around 20 in total) really enjoyed playing in the soft play area before sitting down to some lovely hot food (which they they all gobbled up). All the kids said they had a fantastic time and enjoyed the party. Thank you Wild N Wacky (specially Molly) for making it a memorable day for our son.

My husband and I went to soft play with our baby who is 10 months old with our friends who has a baby the same age. Upon entering we paid £2.50 for adults and our child got in for free. We entered the secured gated area which was all open plan. The seats where all at the front and then the soft okay areas were sectioned off into sections of 0-2 years then the second section was under 5’s and then it went onto over 5 years old. We went into the baby section which was quite small you could only fit probably 5 parents and their children. Preferably one parent per child so it was difficult that we had both sets of parents with our babies as it seemed too small. Also the areas were not being monitored as a lot of the older children roughly 4 years old would come into the baby section and jump off the ledge into the ball pit where the babies would be. We did inform the children that it was for the babies however no one was monitoring this even the parents. It’s nice place and they have food and have party events however I feel that the area for babies is too small and better for older children for parents who want to have a coffee and sit whilst their child/ children go off and play.

Dear Kelcianne Thank you for your review. We do ask our staff to monitor that children are playing in the correct areas for their ages (and as you say, their parents should be keeping an eye on them too) but we are always happy if someone approaches a member of staff to ask them to have a word with the older kids. If you are able to visit during the weekday in term time everything is much calmer and quieter, so lovely for babies. Don't know if you noticed it but we also run FREE activity sessions for little ones each week day - Jo Jingles music, dancing, exercise and more music plus a creative messy session, so there's always something different going on. We don't charge anything for these extras, but places are limited so we issue wristbands for them on a first come first served basis. Full details and timings are on our website Events pages and we post regularly on Facebook too. I hope we can tempt you all back to Wild 'n' Wacky with your little ones again...
