Usual British seaside pier. Cafe, shops and games. Seen one seen them all. Eastbourne in general needs to raise its standards and get out of the 1970's.

Visited Eastbourne again, went on the Pier again. Small row of shops provide range from stick of rock to glass blowing. Wife buys jars of preserves and delicate glass ornaments for presents. Fish and Chips are excellent, Victorian tea room good for a sit down...More

Pier is full of history, at the end a jetty where steam ships used to go to Brighton. There was fire damage to part of the pier which still can be seen

Came to Eastbourne for a family trip for a day and decided to have a look at the Pier. It was quite disappointing, you can find a cheap fish & chips place, several amusement parks and a very old victorian tea place. Quite sad!
