The Byparken is located on both sides of Christies Gate and has a lake, bandstand and statues, including that of Edvard Grieg. Being near to the KODE museums it is convenient to take a walk around before or after visiting these.

Nice sight but you will not loose too much time about it, as you will probably simply walk by it. There is a lake in the vicinity and chances you will sit there on the bench watching or feeding ducks, swans, seagulls...

We arrived in Bergen and walked through the Byparken to get to our apartment, it made a very good first impression of Bergen! Very well maintained and provides lovely scenic views of Bergen.

A buffer zone which helps to ease the urban density. Well maintained and pleasantly located near the train station and behind the commercial zone.

Very well maintained city park in town square surrounding fountains and museum(kode)...lovely spot to walk around or just relax or to take innumerable pictures...view is mesmerising...being in Bergen you cant miss going to this little gem. Recommended.

You walk around and are surrounded by beautiful flowers, statues and scenery. I was able to take a 360 degree video to post on Facebook for all our friends back home to see and for us to look at and remember our great time here.
