Schonbrunn Zoo is the perfect place for a journey into the fascinating world of the animal kingdom. Open year round, it combines the highlights of the natural world with an unparalleled history as the world's oldest and Europe's best zoo. A beautiful setting for a zoo. The layout is unique and the historic buildings add character to the animal enclosures. A great range of animals to see and in nice enclosures considering it is a zoo.

Good size, did it in 2 hours at a speedy pace. Reasonable priced snack trucks. Went as part of the Vienna pass and was worth it.

It had a lot of interesting stuff (bugs, tropical area...) but I feel that it's not worth the money.

The zoo is spectacular with its wide range of animals. The enclosures are beautiful and the animals seem happy to be in large areas with their own natural habitat as much as possible. One of the gorillas came up to see my baby; she tapped...More

We arrived about 10am and apart from a couple of other people had the zoo to ourselves. Saw lots of animals. Everywhere very clean and we had lots of fun.

Vienna’s 13th district has always been in the shadow
of Schönbrunn Palace and its gardens, but has
interesting hidden gems waiting to be discovered.
Allow half a day for the imposing Habsburg residence
and the gardens with Gloriette belvedere. Reserve the
other half to discover the secret charms of this posh
residential neighbourhood. Sneak out of the gardens at
Hietzinger Tor (Hietzing Gate) and head down
