A very nice historical church in the old town of Salzburg. Very majestic architecture from the outside. The inside is very grand and elegant, even though the interior decoration is very simple and painted mainly in white.

This is really the Kollegienkirche so please those reviews also. I think there are many more reviews there. But I would definitely make it a stop on tour of Salzburg. It can be a short visit, but well worth the time. Please see my review under Kollegienkirche and the pics posted there.…

An often ignored place due to its not so impressing exterior. However one is taken by surprise to see its grand marble interior and an equally interesting history behind the church. Numerous concerts are organised here at a nominal prices throughout the year.

This is the University church to serve the university students. It is often ignored by the visitors unaware of its history and the various purposes it was used by rulers of different periods apart from its original purpose. However it is worth a peek depending on how much you are interested in history and architecture. Not only that, this is the place where you could find quite a few concerts and musical events organised throughout the year.…
