About
The TSANGARIDES winery is the next generation of Cypriot wines. Our avowed philosophy is to blend old school traditions with new school style. Our youth, energy, and passion coupled with the distinct sense of place that wine brings to our lives, allow us to produce wines of great character, and distinction. The wine scene in Cyprus is now flourishing and we are extremely proud to be considered as one of the key wineries at the leading edge of this long awaited revival of our countries wine industry.

- JNB2011Kolossi, Cyprus1,310 contributionsVery good quality organic wines at good prices!Very good quality wines, most of them organic, at very good prices! Very friendly and helpful employees, especially Elena! And we liked a lot the owner Angelos! He was very friendly and helpful, social and open to talk about his wines! We were impressed by their Sauvignon Blanc, their Shiraz rose and especially their Zivania! Their Zivania is very aromatic and one of the best we 've tried in Cyprus!Visited April 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 12 April 2023
- Joasi23South Yorkshire, United Kingdom1,416 contributionsSuperbWe had researched prior and visited randomly with no booking . The owner greeted us and made us welcome immediately. We opted for the wine tasting and platter and it could not have been better. Absolutely fabulous experience sat under the vines with views to die for . We know very little about wine so we enjoyed a leisurely couple of hours tasting the variety offered with Information on each . The platter was quality products and enough for the 4 of us . We loved it Highly recommend.Visited August 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 17 August 2023

We had a tour after and it’s was good to see how it is all made and we learnt a thing about wine too. The wine is very nice, shame we can not fit more I. - Joanne HMilton Keynes, United Kingdom190 contributionsStunning view from the terraceHaving tasted some Tsangarides wines at our hotel it was really interesting to visit the winery to see the vines. We had a thoroughly enjoyable tasting on the terrace, with stunning views. There was no rush, and while we were there a few tractors pulled up with freshly harvested grapes and we were lucky enough to be able to taste some of them before they went off to the press. We bought a few bottles to enjoy during the rest of our stay and to bring home. Amazing prices too for such quality.Visited September 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 30 September 2023

I’m not much of a wine drinker but enjoyed the wine tasting especially the xinisteri . Absolutely gorgeous establishment, lovely view , you can order a cheese board to go along with the wine tasting. Staff is friendly and hospitable . Highly recommended!

What a great place to visit: fabulous views, friendly staff, great charcuterie and cheese board, plus - most importantly of all - superb range of wines to taste. We had a great afternoon.

We booked this after seeing its 5star reviews, the place was lovely and very scenic. The tour was brief, it’s quite a small setup. We tasted 5 or 6 different wines and enjoyed a cheese board between the pair of us. I would say around an hour and a half and we were done. The staff were attentive, and friendly, we were at ease from arriving. The only issue we faced was that I didn’t look up how far Lemona village was. It’s around 40 mins/16km away from the main strip, up in the hills, the roads are rustic and our return taxi driver wasn’t the best, leaving us a little travel sick after our cheese and wine. We called a few local taxi firms and ended up with a €65 taxi each way which soured it for us a little but when in Rome and all that. Overall a recommended jaunt but check your location or allow for an expensive journey.

Wines were amazing, helpful and friendly staff. We sat in the little court yard on the veranda, did the tasting then another bottle + a platter. Perfect afternoon. Would recommend to anyone visiting Paphos. Cannot fault our experience.

Had a really lovely time at the winery, would really recommend. Even though we booked onto a specific time, the whole thing was very relaxed. We started off with the tasting of the 6 wines, all were delicious and we ended up buying bottles of 2 of them as they were also so reasonably priced. We were never rushed from one to the next which was lovely, so had chance to enjoy the cheese and fruit platter. We then had the tour of the winery which was 10-15 mins. Interesting to see and lovely that it’s a family business. The only thing that would make it better for me would be to have a tour of the vineyards too!

Great family run business, we were shown through the production and bottling process. Followed by tasting 6 different wines with a cheese and fruit board supplied also. Wonderful place in a beautiful location - thank you!

Hello we would like to go to this winery but do not want to drive as we would like to sample the wines. Do you know if there are coach trips to take you there from kato paphos/tomb of the kings area? If not any taxis?
thanks

Tsangarides is our favourite winery. It is owned and run by Angelo Tsangarides who will, more than likely talk to you about his winery, and the whole process. I would not advise trying to get there by any other means than by car. Leave Paphos on the Polis Road, and once you have climbed out of Paphos take a right turn to Tsada and Letympou. Follow that road for some while and you will come across signs for Tsangarides - keep you eyes open, they are not the clearest of signs. A taxi would cost at least 50 euros, so hire a car for the day, and have a designated driver. The wines are good. Sorry for delay in reply. Try the Letympou Tavern for lunch.

We didn't book although maybe best to check what time they close. I think it was about 3. They were very friendly and no hard sell at all. Well worth a visit.
