We loved visiting this winery so much! Family owned and so much charm and character - they were wonderful and the wines were delicious. Loved the tour and the tasting! We couldn't purchase any on site as we weren't checking bags on our flight out of Cyprus, but we were so glad they had bottles at the Duty Free!

Amazing tour of the winery and informations given by the owner 95+ inspired us to be more interested in wines than before. Interesting varieties of awarded wines, from dry to sweet.

Small family winery, but excellent. This is our second visit. The first was a tour with the original owner, a lovely lady, the second, her daughter took us around. Both informative and helpful.
Interesting, informative but NOT boring.
The actual choice of wines to taste was good and certainly tempted us yo buy some wine, but worthwhile.
Wines could be considered a little expensive, but as you have tasted the wine, your choice of purchases will be a sure think.

Ayia Marvi is not just a winery, it is an absolute must experience. The wines are just outstanding, an amazing and cozy atmosphere all around the winery, and they make you feel so special that you'll never want to leave. We were honoured to be hosted by Andreas and we came back there every single day of our stay at the village. Absolutely loved it!!!!!

We came at the end of the day but they accommodated us graciously. The couple that own and operate this place are so lovely. This is clearly a labour of love.

The tour was really authentic. This is a small winery focused on quality over quantity.

The dry muscat and commanderia were fantastic, we bought a couple bottles and they didn’t last long.

Highly recommend doing this as a small intimate group.

From the moment you arrive at the winery to the moment you leave, it is simply breathtaking, inspring, peaceful and fundamentally, natural.
The hosts are incredibly humble and welcoming.
The walk to the tasting cellar is the beginning of the tour (although you probably wont realise this until after) and you descend the staircase to be greeted by walls of awards and certificates.
This is an indication of what is ahead - some very very good wines!
The tasting itself starts with a tour through the bottle racks in the 2 cellar areas and there is a short explanation on each.
Now, the tasting itself - a curated selection of whites, rose and reds and the absolute star of the show a dessert wine 'Comandaria' which has a history of over 5000 years....
Wine is subjective and what some people like, another wont but what is clear, these guys believe wholeheartedly in what they do and each wine is made with passion.
The stories are sometimes anecdotal - one of their best sellers was created out of a mistake. A mistake they have repeated every year since.
From all the wineries we tried on out trip, this was by far the best in terms of variety and flavour.
Highly recommended.

The whole of the time we spent at this small winery was well worth it. The surroundings of the winery are also beautiful.
We were made extremely welcome.
The experience was excellent, highly interesting and informative.
After seeing and hearing all about the winery from its early days to the present day and visiting the wine cellars with wines ranging up to €500 and more a bottle, we were in awe of what we had seen and heard. The way they store the wine bottles in the cellar is a beautiful sight.
Then came the wine tasting.
We were offered reds, whites and rosé dry, medium dry and sweet. In the main they were all delicious.
Wines to buy start from €6 upwards, but at no time did the tour guide/owner say anything to pressurise us to buy, it was entirely our choice.
I recommend the Xynistheri - a dry white wine and the Komanderia a sweet aperitif/after dinner wine.
All wines we tasted were cold, even the red, try it you will be very pleasantly surprised if like me you don't drink cold red wine.

My visit to this vineyard was a highlight of my trip to Cyprus! The owner, a retired doctor, was a warm and knowledgeable host. The tour of the cellars and wine tasting was very special and unique. Beautiful selection of award winning dessert and table wines. A must do experience for wine lovers!
