Very interesting icelandic artist. His work deserved to be visited. The oark is free, the inside expo is 1500kr. Take in consideration the house has been build before the church. The archi of the Church collaborated for the house design in 1916. If you visit the church you can't miss this place. Check on YouTube the video 4hOXa3MKPnU. If you are interested in sculpture, especially history of sculpture, then this building is well worth your time. It is located right outside the Hallgrimskirkja Church. Jonssonar is famous in Iceland, but not as well known elsewhere. His style is complex, old and new. We didn't see the gardens due to the cold and darkness, but there is plenty to see inside. They also present a few pieces by local modern sculptors that we found provacative.

This is a wonderful and unique collection of early 1900s art deco sculptures. You can wander around the three floors at your own pace. Each floor has a new, surprising, and amazing sculpture. The museum is located right across from the cathedral.

The museum is conveniently located near Hallgrímskirkja church in central Reykjavik. I was impressed by the external architecture, which can be admired from the free-access garden outside. Inside, however, I felt the sculptures and art could have been arranged more efficiently. The building has three floors, with the upper floor offering insights into Einar Jonsson's life.

This small museum was the home of Einer Jonsson and houses a large collection of his works, particularly his fascinating sculptures. There is also a sculpture garden. Well worth a visit, it is located very close to Hallgrimskirkja church but I suspect often overlooked because the facade facing the church is rather forbidding. I went soon after it opened on a cold and rainy day and had the place to myself; but due to the poor weather I didn't get to see the sculpture garden.
