The area
Address
Neighbourhood: Amager
In the eastern part of this neighbourhood, visitors will discover Amager Strandpark, a beach area which has become increasingly popular. It’s only a 30 minute bicycle ride or a 10 minute Metro trip away from the city center. Only a few hundred yards inland, some of the most creative musicians, artists, and writers in Copenhagen are occupying some of the old storage houses and production facilities. The western part is one of Copenhagen's most rapidly evolving areas, here you’ll find international architecture of the highest rank, the state of the art TV-Byen (the Danish pendant to BBC), a golf course as well as Copenhagen's best (and tiniest) ice bar.

Blocks & Walls is situated in a lovely location, and it is an ideal place to climb.
However, some people of the staff are extremely rude and unfriendly (especially one of the guys at the bar).

Good place for diversive climbing. I think that there are good routes for all types of climbing and they are regurarly changed. Clean changing area and the cafe has good coffee. New mattress for boulder area up now, which is nice. Entrence is about 125,- per person, you can rent shoes and so on.

Highly recommended. One of the few places in Scandinavia where they have two auto-belay systems, so it’s possible to climb a top-robe route alone. Actually there are 4 auto-belay routes 2 5c’s and two 6a/b routes.

Lots of slab and difficult overhang routes (6-7’s)

There’s also sone nice bouldering and even outdoor bouldering in the summer.

Great atmosphere and cafe, where you can chill out..

We did the 'try climbing' session and had a great time. Our instructor was very friendly and great with the kids. We did bouldering and top rope, with our 8 year old reaching the top of the 11m wall.

I've seen people say you need a car to get there. You don't. We took a bus from Central station. Takes half an hour, but ran to time.

Amazing climbing gym with a huge lead climbing area, toprope, bouldering, slackline, ...
Nice bar and small food. Huge hall with a lot of space.

Great place for both route climbing as well as bouldering. It's the largest climbing centre in northern Europe and definitely worth a visit. Day tickets are reasonably priced and there is a small cafe.

Well not much to say. Big bouldering area, top ropes, lead climbing, gym. Would be nice if they could offer a beer for after climbing. Besides that and the location which I virtually impossible without a car or bike, I would say awesome

I went few days ago with a friend of mine which is a climbing instructor and route setter from London. We climb regularly in quite a few places in London. Blocs and walls has a great potential but for our point of view is not there yet. First of all the top roping grades were pretty low meaning, if you climb at 7 and upwards I am afraid blocs and walls is not the place for you! Top roping grades were from 4 to 6b only.
The bouldering area looks nice but honestly it is not easy to understand which grades are the routes in place! The leading area looks the nicest one. If you fancy leading than blocs and walls is a pretty good place but I wouldn't bother too much about top roping and bouldering.
