The area
Address
Neighbourhood: Amager
In the eastern part of this neighbourhood, visitors will discover Amager Strandpark, a beach area which has become increasingly popular. It’s only a 30 minute bicycle ride or a 10 minute Metro trip away from the city center. Only a few hundred yards inland, some of the most creative musicians, artists, and writers in Copenhagen are occupying some of the old storage houses and production facilities. The western part is one of Copenhagen's most rapidly evolving areas, here you’ll find international architecture of the highest rank, the state of the art TV-Byen (the Danish pendant to BBC), a golf course as well as Copenhagen's best (and tiniest) ice bar.

Hard to know what to make of this really. It was certainly an experience and not something you are likely to come across otherwise. Was it enjoyable though? Not really.

I expected it to be more about challenging a fear of heights but to be honest after the first 5 minutes you rather forget about the height and it wouldn't have really made any difference if it were 5 metres off the ground or 50. In truth, this is more a challenge of stamina, strength and endurance and I'll be honest... three quarters of the way through I was spent!

If you want to challenge yourself then go for it but it's not exactly fun!

I tried the high-roping track with one of my mates before he went on vacation. Superb experience, the host was amazing (long blonde hair, can't remember his name though). The challenges and the whole experience had my adrenaline pumping extensively, and while some of them were really tough we still managed to get through all of them :)

I also did stuff like walk the plank, Jacobs ladder and some labyrinth where we had blacked out gasmasks on and had to crawl, climb and slide through a maze (BLIND!), very fun experience, especially with friends!

having done several "high ropes" type courses in various locations at home in the UK, we had to try out this one. Alleged to be the highest high ropes course in the world, or at least the highest indoor course, the four "tracks" here have enough to satisfy everyone's inner adrenalin junkie! if you're a first time high roper the 50 meter height might put you off. But for the seasoned professionals this a great course to push you to both you physical and mental limits. some easier elements in the first three tracks and some much more difficult (particularly in the fourth). We thoroughly enjoyed it, and would recommend you try it! the best bit was going down all the zip-lines to get to the bottom! if you want something alternative to do while visiting Copenhagen then I suggest you do this! (make sure you wear warm clothes and take gloves)

As we had an incident and requested help, there was nobody of the staff around to help. When we contacted them for that, the informed us that you are self challenged and Independent on the ropes. Therefore in the case of an actual accident who knows if they will respond or not. By looking at their FB page, I notice more people having incidents and the staff was absent. Very unprofessional and irresponsible to my understanding.

My son and I had a great afternoon 50 metres of the ground: well managed and safe but really challenging. The zip lines down were awesome.

We went to urban range camp for a company day. The activities were Jacob ladder, rappelling and walk the plank.

The rangers are very focused on safety and nothing nor anyone is at risk at any time. This gives the security to breach ones barrier - but they are good at ensuring that it should be a good experience - and allow ppl to stop when they have reached their personal limit.

Nice little coffee shop and outdoor sitting area. Good place for alternative company day with a combi of activities and own sessions

Transportation tip: pick up the ferry at the Nordre Toldbod terminal to get across the water to get to the Urban Ranger Camp. You will get off at the Refshaleøen terminal and it is only about a 15 minute walk to the URC.

We visited Copenhagen on a Celebrity cruise and wanted something more exciting than the normal tours. We signed up for the Urban Ranger Camp's high challenge course and were very happy with our decision. The staff was extremely friendly and professional and we felt very safe. There are locker rooms for you to store your stuff while you are on the course.

The Course: it starts out easy and increases in difficulty. Whenever you are done, you zip-line a couple times.
