But it is !! I don’t want to tell you that as then it will be over crowded. Lovely beach with beds and umbrellas is a great start and then free parking and a great bar with reasonably priced food and drinks and a swimming pool. Facilities excellent with showers and changing rooms so nothing else is needed.
Beautiful clean sea and lots of space.

Pefkoulia Beach. It is rated in 5th position of the beaches of Lefkada. It is located at the bottom of the hill where the main road passes. Downstairs, parking remains restricted. In the summer, it is difficult to find a parking space. Access to the beach is via a restaurant. A beach restaurant with deckchairs. However, it is a long beach and you have to walk a little to be alone facing the sea.

We chose this beach because we read on Google that it was nudist. We parked upstairs at the headquarters because we were afraid there was no place downstairs. We walked a little and arrived at a nice organized beach. The waters were crystal clear and at a point near the rocks there were algae, but not so many to impress us. We crossed the rock but there were no nudists anywhere (we wanted to do something different on our holidays but we failed). Just continued the beach on the other side. The only strange thing was that in the rocks there were many with tents that made free camping. The water very hot for the place it was, without any wave though it deepens sharply. Ideal for families.

Free parking right at the beachfront kiosk or along the street. Beach sand / pebbles, crystal clear sea that deserves in its nuances. Partly free and partly equipped (10 euros) in the left area, just below the Deck kiosk (super view, ventilated, swimming pool... shame x old and neglected bathrooms and shower, little clean). Then there is a part on the right very wide (only free beach), water more accessible without shoes because more sandy.

Very nice sea, which, seen from above is spectacular, but beach full of dried seaweed, even in the equipped part. Sunbeds for 10 euros, but the beach equipment looks a bit scruffy!
At the bar there is also a swimming pool and free showers.
Beach of small pebbles.
Along the beach, with very large stretches not equipped.

Very dirty beach. Lots of tissue, baby wipes and rubbish everywhere. Clearly one area was being used a toilet and there was lots of used toilet tissues on the floor and in bushes.

Sun loungers at the desk cafe were very expensive, €25 for a double and €40 for a larger family one. I thought this was overpriced.

The beach has a grassy bush area which is being used by campers, in itself not a poor Ken, however there was a lot of rubbish by the tents and clear drug use occurring.

Would not recommend for families.

The beach is very easily accessible by car, there are many parking places at the rocks at the main road for free. We came in June, there were lots of sunbeds and umbrellas available, cost is 10 € / set/ day. There is a Deck Cafe, which is fully equipped with a swimming pool, wc, showers and changing rooms, all is free. We had a fantastic lunch there, too. The beach is covered with tiny stones, and much bigger stones in the SEA, don't go there without some sea-shoes! The waves vere big! There is an organized part of the beach and on the right there is a natural part. The nature is beautiful! A must go beach!

Go down through the Deck bar and walk towards the right where the very long pebble beach of Pefkoulia begins. The sea sinks quickly, the color is turquoise, behind the pine forest to take refuge in the hottest hours (some tourists with tents also camp there permanently, but there are no problems). Going towards the end of the beach, naturism wins. Very quiet, crowded but you stay far apart because there is plenty of space.

Day trip, taking advantage of the fact that it is located near a bus stop coming from Lefkada town. The colors of the sea on the west coast are really great, but this beach is only interesting for taking photos from above. In the water, near the shore, there are large slippery stones, which make it very difficult to enter the water. So for most bathers it is very uncomfortable. I tried to cover it even in the wildest stretch, but mostly I consider it of little interest. Unfortunately the pine forest near the sea, which is on a steep coast, in high season is not usable by bathers looking for a little shade because being allowed free camping there is no space. Also there is a terrible situation for lack of hygiene and cleanliness. Fortunately on the island it is not difficult to find great alternatives.

In my opinion this is the best organized and accessible beach of Lefkada island even compare to Porto Katsiki and Kathisma. The combination of sandy beach, restaurant DECK with a swimming pool, free parking and large aria for refreshing is without competition. The beautiful view and historical greek monument two two cannons are amazing.
