Drove to Crete last year via France Italy and mainland Greece again to Georgiopoulis Crete we think it provides all most would want from a destination great beach , tavernas, local people and usually very hot weather lol
Plenty of room here and nice and sandy beach perfect for the kids on sand castle building duties.

Great hotel and wonderful lovely staff. Only complaint was that you have to take half board. This we do not like as there are so many lovely tavernas near by and eating out is part of the wonderful Greek experience.
