This is worth a half hour walk around. You get beautiful views of the town and the sea from the top of the turrets. All of this for free. The museum is small but interesting.

Not that much left of the Castillo with the exception of the boundary walls ! Has a nice small museum and the large central area hosts concerts, exhibitions etc. Gives a commanding view over the beach & port area , and Oh, did I mention it's free ?

Very old Castle, with an important role on the Portuguese history that offers the best view of Sines bay and Vasco da Gama beach.
The Castle is open to public, free entrance, and it's easily reached from Sines "centro".

Housed in the birth home of Vasco de Gama, this collection of local history telling the story of Sines is fascinating, and well worth a visit.

A nice treat considering that it is free and it has some beautiful views but it clearly needs some TLC. Definitely worth checking it out but a shame that it is so unkept.

Beatiful setting with some wonderful sea views. No much to see in the castle and unfortunately when we were there the museum was closed. but definitely worth a visit.

What a terrific museum. I can't believe it's free. So much history here and so well represented. Great views of the harbor and city.

The castle is nothing more then renovated castle walls. However you got a great view from over the harbour and part of the city.
