Best zoo I ever visited. Lots of space given to the animals. open concept, so it feels almost real wild habitats. Good conservation work is done at Plankendael zoo by taking part in breeding programmes that aim to boost the numbers of endangered animals. Also...More

Very impressive zoo and great attention detail and lots of room for the animals. Only negative was they were improving the Africa area so some animals were not available to see.

Lot of space for the animals so kids do not see them in cages. Wide variety of animals. Wonderful park. We'll organized. Perfect for a day activity with kids.

A big zoo (which explains the cost of the entrance fee) that we spent the whole day exploring. The paths are dusty so it's best to wear good walking shoes. It is really hot during this season but you can find some shade to rest....More
