It was an intersting visit, but the place is pretty big and we were not sure where should we go, especially with a 7 year old. Also, in some of the houses there are "live exhibitions" and in some not, but there not a way...More

It was our 4th time there, but with new friends. even the most conservative teenager came out with the smile. All liked to "milk the cow". As there are many things kids can touch, they loved it. You see cheese, beer, flax oil etc making....More

A nice way to look back in time. The Netherlands and some of its typical buildings and housesee through various decades. Nice for all ages.

Spent 5hrs here and only got half way round! Easily the best open air museum we've been to. The stories behind some of the exhibits were fascinating. One of the highlights of our holiday.

The museum is well organized and very wide, it's good for adults and children! The defect is that in all the historic museum there are only dutch explanations!! They should translate the legend and the games!
