We basically stumbled on this site passing through from our parkade to the city centre. An incredible interesting place to visit and learn about

A fascinating place to visit. Not quite like anything you would see elsewhere. The video show showing aspects of the city's history is excellent and worth stopping to see

Enchanting place which we stumble upon as we have not prepared any special plan for visiting Perugia. We took escalators to the historic center and suddenly found ourselves in a different time and place. Moder structures greatly attuned with historic walls and streets. Hauntingly beautiful!

Hundreds or thousands of people will pass through the Rocca Paolina, on the escalators taking you up to Corso Vannucci. However many will never discover the amazing history of this fortress. Do not miss this.

Found the pathways fascinating and a treat to see. But the piece de resistance was the sound and light show in one of the rooms. It was dazzling!

I suggest not only exploring on foot but also get to know a bit of the history. There are apparently different versions of it as this was part of a fortress, which means there were conflicts ... There is one room where there is a...More

Just to look at the underground Rocca will take 15 minutes. It is free. It helps to be prepared and know what you are looking at. Often times there is also a section open as museum gallery to visit (usually also free of... More
