I like the idea of the minimetro that it brings you from the stadium, or the train station directly to the centre of Perugia. It is reliable, will not stuck in the traffic and there is enough space if it is not Umbria Jazz or...More

We used the minimetro to get from the train station into the upper square of the city to our rented apartment. It is easy to use and much cheaper than a taxi. There are automated ticket machines, which are easy to use. Cost is 1.5...More

Don’t miss a trip on the wonderfully efficient Mini Metro. This is a great little system that doesn’t seem to have any people running it. You buy tickets from a machine, enter the station and wait at the most 2 minutes for a tiny train...More

We took the Minimetro from easy (free) parking at the soccer stadium right to the hilltop center of Perugia. Easy and inexpensive. Made our visit more enjoyable!

The cars appear every minute so you never ever wait. Takes you directly to the main train station, Fontevegge.

How easy: leave the car on the park near the highway, get in to wagon and get out in the old city. Everything in short time and good price.

Cable cars running on rails, frequent, reliable and FUN. A single ticket at €1.50 lasts for 70 minutes from first use and can be used several times during that period - but you must wait for 20 minutes after checking out before checking in again....More

Dead easy once you find it. Not enough signage off the train. Other couples we came with didn't see it and paid 20 euros in taxi. Beware. Seemed like Perugia doesn't want people to know about for fear of upsetting taxi and bus services? Good...More
