We found this little fountain on our third day in Siena for The Palio - on the previous two days the square had been too crowded to see it. Not overly special but the pigeons seemed to be enjoying it a lot.

This is part of piazza del camo, and a must for every visitor coming to Siena. Kids and adults, we all enjoyed. Just go there. Dont miss it

There are lots of restaurants on Piazza del Campo but unfortunately it's such a captive audience of tourists some of the restaurants take their position for granted. We spent two days in Siena and ate at four of the restaurants in the Campo. Fonte Gaia...More

Few seem to notice this beautiful work in marble in the light of the tower in the piazza. It is quiet in its elegance.

Pretty fountain, although better described as a pool of water with some statues and carvings. Very busy around here as the area is swamped with tourists. Good luck finding space for a selfie!

The fountain is easy to find as its in the main piazza but its only a average fountain in terms of its design and artwork. Its difficult to get good photos due to its size plus its usually very busy.

We were staying in a B&B very close to IL Campo. Usually always busy, but go in the Morning and you and the Pigeons can enjoy the fountain.. in the middle of IL Campo

Fonte di Gaia is a beautiful fountain located in Piazza Il Campo. Have a seat and enjoy the blue clear water of the fountain while enjoying the view of Piazza Il Campo.

This fountain is located on one side the Piazza del Campo. Rather than an actual fountain is actually a pool of water and water is circulated through it by water spouts coming out of wolf statues that sit at either end of the pool. However,...More
