Yes. As other reviewers said there are two rooms that you can there is some stuff going on in there. But what do you expect. This place is probably 1000 years old. It was the Siena jail. It was crazy to see what our ancestors...More

Really impressive and interesting display of classic and medieval torture devices. Compliments to the lady working at the museum, who was very welcoming, took the time to explain the (free) mobile app and granted a student discount - while being non-Italian students. Definitely recommend to...More

We thought this museum would be very touristy but were pleasantly surprised at how professionally the displays were set out and explained in Italian and English. If you have the time it is well worth the visit. A lot of reading but all really good...More

Thank you for visiting the Torture Museum. You walk through various parts of the old prison: a very real experience. You will leave with a real sense of how bleak life must have been in the old prison. Instruments speaks for themselves...Torture Museum is located...More

I was amazed by the previous 2 negative reviews. This is a professional historical and honest presentation of torture instruments. It's impressive and disturbing as the exhibits remind us that the modern equivalents of these instruments are in use today. Any student of history would...More
