Do not miss the beautiful frescoes by Umbrian artist Pinturicchio. The colors are beautiful and amazingly well preserved.

Worth reading up beforehand. No danger of fresco fatigue (possibility of a stiff neck, but that would helpfully correct the consequences of looking down at the marvellous floors on the main church). A wonderful room with such an interesting story to tell.

After they changed the ticket policy once more, we were suddenly allowed to visit this awe inspiring part of the cathedral. The whole room if full of huge frescos - on every wall and on the ceiling. There are also hymnals with beautiful illustrations, but...More

Located inside the cathedral is this lovely room with some beautiful art and a wonderful ceiling. As it’s part of the cathedral you won’t (or shouldn’t) be able to miss it.

What a true blessing to be able to view this place. Original frescos, sculptures, and books that represent the history of the times.

Unique to find a library inside a church, the entrance is through a side door inside the cathedral, Cuomo in Italian.

This is a room tucked off the side of the Siena Cathedral (accessed from within the Cathedral, no extra ticket required). There are old books on display that are beautiful, but what I love the most about this room is the ceiling. I wish I...More

You can have a combined ticket and the library is just steps away from the duomo. It is a must when you visit SIena. The wonderful colered books to see, the frescos on the wall are just incredible.
