The museum has several rooms on different themes packed with art treasures connected with the Cathedral. Entrance costs €7, but I used the all-inclusive €13 ticket which also includes the Cathedral, the amazing Biblioteca Piccolomini, the crypt and the baptistry.

If you have even a little interest in historical things, you will find something here of interest. I especially liked the ancient artifacts displayed.

This site was part of a package of sites that I paid to visit, while in Siena. Once you get to the heart of Siena, you will need to pay to visit every site. It was worth a visit.

Yes, you can see beautiful historical artifacts, but don't forget to (stand in line) to make the climb to the top to get the most amazing panoramic views of Siena and Tuscany. Get the combo ticket with the Duomo..

The museum was filled with preserved artifacts that I found absorbing. However, the surprise was a visit to the rooftop and wow! The view over Siena and the surrounding country was fantastic. Definitely worth a visit.

Did not spend much time visiting the Museum itself but climbed to the breathtaking panoramic view. A delight to contemplate the Siena roofs and surrounding countryside.
