You can just go here and sit down on the piazza itself, it's very common here to just bring your sandwich, snacks and drinks and relax in the middle of the piazza.. The beautiful view of the surroundings and the Palazzo is created by a...More

We spent pretty much a whole day here in October, wandering round, having drinks and sightseeing. The clock tower is a must to get the best views, 10 euros and 400 steps! It's quite narrow and claustrophobic climbing up, but worth it for the views!

I really like Siena and the piazza is one of the most important places in town. Dont miss it! If you can, try to go during the palio festival.

A huge square in the middle of Sienna. Imagine the horses careering around it on the day of the Palio. Touristy restaurants all around. Nice fountain on the side.

This is where the palio is held and one must walk around it to appreciate how a horse race can be held here. Lots of restaurants but we didn't try one. Too many other good places

Sorry about the delay in responding - we've been travelling. The hotel promoted the walking tour we did but it is available through the shop in the corner of the piazza. If you are standing looking at the tower it is in the... More

Hi, we had a rented vehicle while in Tuscany as it was easier to get around so I honestly don't know. I'm sorry!
