Came here after the Square of Miracles to mostly escape the crowds of tourists on a sand beach that had manageable waves for swimming, affordable parking (4 to 8€ in most lots) and a good vibe. Just relax and get a tan!

This beach was the best we found on our visit to Tuscany. It’s known as a ‘wild’ beach and is mainly free. There is a reasonable car park (costs 6.50 for the day) with plenty of spaces (longest search for place was 5 mins) and wooden walk ways down to the sand. Can get crowded but space can always be found with a short walk. There are several bars/restaurants for supplies.…

Big sandy beach, good parking, bar/cafe, both organised and free space. The weather wasn’t great when we went, overcast but warm, rather windy. Should suit everyone! Only downside is the constant round of sellers of tat, but you seem to get that everywhere now.

This has been our favorite for fifteen years. It's wild, sometimes there's some garbage washed up, but the shore is always changing and you can find a place to put up your umbrella, tent, lean-to or tipi and have a great beach day!
