This hour-or-so walk is a real treat. The unique perspective on the city is a great and a worthwhile addition to a city break. Highly recommended

Concierge in hotel told us about the walk around the wall. €3 each well spent.. 3km wander around Pisa. Yes it goes around the parts of town you might not normally see, but it was lovely.

We started at the river end so we finished in the Square of Miracles. Interesting to see the city from a different perspective and worth doing for just 3 Euros each.

For only 3 euros each you can walk 3 km of city walls. This gives you great views of the leaning tower and surrounding buildings. The walls were not that busy so we had a leisurely walk a roof level around the city.

For such cheap admission it is great to visit the walls and get a different view of the Square of Miracles and all of the monuments. You can take great pictures and there are not so many people on the walls. It is a lovely...More

The walls are around 3km long, and most (away from the Piazza dei Miracoli) are neglected by tourists. The wall is well maintained, and is a great spot to take pictures of the Leaning Tower, Baptistery and the Cathedral, and also offers a nice quiet...More
