The Piazza leaning tower and duomo are the only things worth visiting Pisa for but are well worth it in themselves

We visited Piazza dei Miracoli and we loved the architecture of the monument, the extended garden square and the frescos were quite impressive. Worth a visit!

Beautiful architecture and green space. Clean and well organised although many tourists. Military presence as well as blockage from traffic in walking areas greatly appreciated. Visit to the different monuments should be considered based on interest and time. Unless specifically desired, buying a guided tour...More

You could imagine picnics happening here, however that’s not encouraged, despite this, its a welcomed green space in a city full of concrete

The piazza is the ground where all the major sights are found. The main attraction of the piazza itself may be all the strange posings of people "suporting" the tower.

The green provides a great contrast to the white of the buildings here. Please abide by the signs and stay off the grass!

Just a very nice place to promenade. It does get very busy because of the Tower bad don’t walk in the heat as shade is hard to come by.

Beautiful site, that is rather awe inspiring. The buildings are lovely and the grounds are well maintained. Very busy with tourists, but this was only to be expected with such a renowned site.

Its a nice thing to see and with the current progress of renovation, it is also worth its price. Take a look inside when in Pisa

Not sure about tickets but I can talk about driving in Pisa. And my advice is: don't. Leave your car at your hotel and take a taxi. It isn't a big place but it has narrow mediaeval streets, little in the way of parking... More
