Lovely architecture (unfortunately, the front of the church was under reconstruction when I visited). In my opinion, the bell tower is not worth a visit, since the view is nearly the same as what you see from the other towers in the city, and all...More

A day trip to Lucca included this Cuomo. Like many in Italy it is exquisite architecturally and wonderful to visit. Lovely little town well worth the train ride from Firenze.

While unlike most of the churchs I Lucca you must pay a fee to enter but the $3 is well spent. Beautiful construction and some fine art including a Tinterretto of the Last Supper. We'll worth a visit.

The Cathedral is beautiful and well worth the visit. It’s best to get the combined ticket that gives access to the museum, tower and baptistery. The floor painting of the wisdom of Solomon is unusual and powerful.
