Touring and eating lunch at Podere Concori was definitely a highlight of our amazing time in Barga! Mateo, (who is utterly adorable!) taught us so much about the entire process of wine-making, from the fertilizer to the table...and just when we thought it couldn't get...More

We stayed at the Renaissance & this was 10 mins drive away. Mateo was an excellent guide & showed us the vines, vats, storage etc - every stage from grape to glass! This was followed by a lovely 2 course light lunch (vegetarians catered for)...More

Podere Concori is an extraordinary find, perched in a mountain with a commanding view of the Garfagnana valley below. Having experienced wine tours in Super Tuscan wine territory where a large amount of the work is mechanized, it was a delight to see Concori. We...More

The "side trip" to this small family-owned vineyard turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip to Tuscany. The quality of the wine and small plates that complemented each choice were only exceeded by the obvious passion the owner has for his...More

This organic winery is rated as one of the best in Tuscany and winemaker Gabriela da Prato had reaped many awards. We enjoyed a fine lunch with homegrown produce from the winery and served by Michela. This is a place where one can fall in...More

The Renaissance hotel recommended this vineyard, and were not disappointed. It is a lovely boutique vineyard, which adheres to biodynamic principles. We were given a very informative tour - they still stomp the grapes with ladies feet ! Very little mechanization, and yet the wine...More

Our hotel booked it for us, but they have a website (I tried to submit the link but it won't let me, it comes up in google though). Email Gabriel, he is the owner, he will set it up for you. Cheers!
