We paid for the guinigi tower and got this tower for a few euros more and we actually preferred this tower. The views are amazing and the clock mechanism is fantastic, the bell actually went off whilst we were up There and it’s very loud.

Having bypassed the Guinigi Tower due to the queue we came across this little gem. €4 each and well worth it. Climbing the narrow stairs their are posters with the history of the tower and you see parts of the old clock mechanism.
