This part of Livorno is lovely. However, if you walk the canal area you're likely to see little apart from apartments, a few small restaurants and of course the canal. Seeing the area from a boat delivers a greater experience. The history surrounding this area...More

The canal trip was very enjoyable as we passed by many lovely buildings. One could see the how the canals were so important to this port city. We had a great tour guide who explained everything.

Obviously not Venice, but delightful for Livorno as a working port city. Livorno is filled with places of interest and historic importance.

The Venice district is lovely, and a good place to wander around. Lots of canal side restaurants make it a good choice for evening dinners / strolls. I enjoyed some of the street art in this area.

Canals of Livorno are reminiscent of Venetian waterways and probably best way to view the old Livorno! Highly recommended!

Avoid The guide spoke very fast as if reading from a script and her English was very hard to understand Nice to see the city but the operators are not really interested in providing a quality service
