The lack of tourists heading to this should have been our clue. We headed up there on a cold windy day to find that you can’t get in.... ....despite the fact that it’s in all of the tourist maps as a place of interest!!! How...More

Dodged the many local roadworks on a very hot day to get to this location only to be told it is not open to the public! Apparently it is used as a convention/trade fair centre by business and not an historical attraction - should have...More

We were unable to enter as a political convention was taking place but its a nice half hour walk to stroll around the old walls of the fortress through the park and take in the size of this old fort

The park next to the fortress was amazing! My dog enjoyed so much! Definitely your place if you are with your dog.

This center is very close to the railway station and downtown Florence, allowing quick access from the hotels. Reasonable facilities that may use a little freshening.

The Forte is a very historical venue. The 5th Congress of the World Union of Wound Healing Societies was held 9/25-9/29. The venue is great for large meetings and close to everything in historical Florence.
