This 19th century piazza has undoubtedly the best panoramic view of Florence. The square is decorated with copies of Michelangelo's sculptures, but it's the view people come here to see.

A little bit of an uphill walk but worth it at the end for the views over Florence. Off the track from other spots located on the tourist maps, but easy to find.

You can see the whole Florence from this rooftop piazzale. The view is amazing. It is a bit crowded so I suggest you to walk to the top 30mins before sunset time. Still able to find a set on stairs.

What a view! You can see all over the town and make pics - a wonderful place to be also when there is a sunset.

Beautiful place to watch the sunset over Florence and see the city from above. Make sure to go at least an hour before sunset as there are crowds of people and it is difficult to secure a good spot unless you go early

If you are in Florence you just have to go here to view Florence and the Arno River from some height. It gives you a great perspective of Florence and its surrounds.

Nothing special other than a fantastic view over the beautiful city. Worth the trip up there, but can't really spend more than 15 minutes on it.

Gorgeous sunset views. Definitely worth the walk and hike up. I'd go at least an hour before sunset to guarantee a spot. We went 30m before sunset and were able to squeeze in for a nice view.

The walk for an active person is lengthy. Many steps to climb but totally worth it the views the concept of the evening watching the sunset was fantastic. The views of Florence was a photographer dream. Well worth the climb.
