I loved our visit to the Teatro Verdi. I loved the music, the costumes and the actors were great!! We were in a booth on the top: fab views and experience!
The staff were very helpful, showing us where we were seated and helped us store our bottle of wine we bought just before the start (no drinks allowed in the theatre!!). The only thing I wished was that we could have had translated subtitles!!!!

This is a beautiful theatre with wonderful acoustics and a wide variety of musical offerings. It is definitely worth talking the time to check out and attend a concert. It is really very interesting to watch the locals engage and enjoy the experience. There was a really happy, chill, positive vibe.

If you have the chance to catch an event here, please do so. Accoustics are really good no matter where you sit. The ambiance is straight out of the 19th century.

The place to catch up on plays music and more. It’s a large theatre and an attraction in Florence. Saw this impressive building from outside.

We went to watch Sleeping Beauty - amazing theatre, beautiful. Would recommend seats in Palchi in front (when booking online the front two), not the back 2 unless you know everyone in your "box"! We got 2 front seats in palchi 3 (a side view) and since no one had booked the two behind us, had the entire small space to ourselves and an incredible view! A lot more worth it than back of the gallery or on the floor! Amazing show, such an experience :) would recommend!

The Teatro Verdi is a huge and impressive hall in which you can enjoy theatre, music, plays and all sort of arts & cultural events. It is located on Via Ghibellina and is a great place to visit for an evening of music and culture.

Who would have expected a Peter Maxwell Davies piece in an Italian Christmas eve concert? The leader played it with swish and skirl as if he, an Italian, were Scottish.
And followed by Dvorak.
We missed the discount voucher that the previous reviewer mentioned, but it was not expensive anyway and good value. Even though we arrived late for a nearly full hall and queued we got in to good seats no problem.
Wine and coffee in the cafe at the break.
Lovely orchestra; it looked strange to have a few people sitting among them without playing; I take it this was a special privilege for board members, to feel part of the performance. For the (truly Italian!) encores, the double basses put on Rudolf antlers, adding to the good humoured impression.

We went to the Christmas Eve concert. Pick up the discount flyer in the lobby before buying tickets as this saved us 30%. The local crowd loves their Orchestra. Beautiful venue, kind of like being in an old European opera house, wait a minute... it IS!

Beautiful, big, amazing opera-like theater. Were here twice to see Jesus Christ Superstar. It was a great feeling to be in a full theater and with a very supporting public. 4 stars just because it's a bit dated, but otherwise looking amazing.

watched "Don Giovanni" by Alessandro Perziosi - excellent performance. Nice to see packed theatre halls with serious enthusiasts for live performances
