A large uncluttered piazza, we happened across it walking along the river bank on our way to the Ponte Vecchio. Being so bare it gives an impressive view of The Ornissanti church and we were then drawn to the large status of Hercules fighting a...More

..at best but what it does contain the church on it is Donatello's tomb which is worth seeing. There are other interesting houses & and statues on the square but it is not Florence's best. A couple of seats for weary tourists would help though...More

Piazza Ognissanti is a large public square. It's a 13th century construction, and it was meant to cater for those attending the nearby church of the same name. It does not appear to have much on it, there is no greenery, trees or anything like...More

We found a few interesting shops to look through, and the piazza was interesting (especially after we poked our noses inside the Regis).

Nice place to check out the Hercules statue if you are in the area but then the only reason to be in the Piazza is the Church. Otherwise... there are more interesting places to stroll & this is a pass.

It’s a decent Piazza near the water. There is Church Chiesa S. Salvatore IN Ognissanti and a sculpture of a man fighting a lion… and guess who that man is? ITS HERCULES!!! :)

The Piazza Ogni Santi has only the façade of the Church of Ognisanti worth seeing. The façade of the church is Baroque and beautiful. In the plaza there is a modern sculpture without a name or the name of the artist who made it. This...More
