There is a monument to garibaldi in middle of the piazza which looks magnificent and stands looking out over the beautiful countryside of Italy. The piazza is a great place to just sit and relax while taking it all in. Great place to go to...More

Very shady at mid day. Lots of benches and bins. Nice vista with the plain spread out below you. There's some car parking if you can't walk up the hill

Great piazza for photo op shots but go to Della Reppublica if you want a great place to sit and people watch and have fun activities.

Grab a Gelato and sit on the bench in the sun. The Piazza is alive with locals and tourists coming and going in all directions, it makes for a relaxing 10 min or so.

Very average piazza, just the start of the historical center, but nicer piazza in the center and much nicer views in Cortona (Duomo or even better near Basilica or Fortezza)
