Most people planning to visit the museum will probably be interested in the Etruscean collection, so I am going to comment exclusively on that. The collection is great -- along with Arezzo's it might be one of the finest collection of Etruscean art and vestiges...More

A great collection of Etruscan and other items. Make sure you get to the top floor and return down in the lift, otherwise you miss most of it. Not very well signed

This is well worth a visit while in Cortona. There is a great variety of artifacts. I was particularly interested in the delicate and very beautiful gold work jewellery and irons work. The artifacts are ver interesting displayed and curated.

Museum is over a huge area. Covers an amazing amount of time with lots of material from private collection. Labelling and explanations could be better and organization may seem confusioning. Well worth a visit and need lots of time. Great for a rainy day!
