Trek in an aquamarine stream enclosed within emerald green alpine canyon walls. Our whole family (including primary-school aged children) loved this stunning water hike.. The full hike takes about 1.5-2 hours each way, and gets progressively more difficult, although most people should be able to...More

The first time we went to Orrido di Botri was in the middle of the afternoon. That did not give us sufficient time to explore much (you need approx 4h there and back), but enough for the whole family (kids 6 and 10) to want...More

The hike through the gorge is absolutely beautiful. It was also easier than I expected. You definitely will get wet, so be prepared for that, and take comfortable and appropriate shoes. Helmet you get at the entrance, in exchange for the entry fee of a...More

This place is amazing for its tranquility and amazing food. Home made good - casalinga style was amazing to try. Beautiful place to take photos outside. Did have a high chair but no baby changing facilities.

Exciting gorge walk through shallow water with one part of deeper turquoise water that you wade through about knee height. Didn't quite make the last part only because we started a bit later than we intended and had to travel back to where we were...More

Went with my 12 year old son. Only did till stage 3, it was exciting enough, very picturesque and easy enough for anyone with good shoes...which will get wet!

Easy to reach from Florence (about 2h) or Lucca (about 1h). It costs just 2 euro for renting the safety helmet, which is mandatory. If you take it easy and take your time for pictures, the path to the final pool will be of about...More

Nice activity that can be done by anybody with normal physical condition (at least till point 3). Took us about 90min to get to 3, about 75 to get back. Put on a short and shoes that can get wet. Parts are trough the water...More

A super experience, although not for the faint-hearted! For the price of just 2 euros you can bark on a 4-stage, 4-hour adventure walking and wading up a mountain cannon. We made it just after the second stage, after which it gets a bit more...More

We went for a walk in the Orrido di Botri gorge in August. When we arrived, we paid two Euros each and received some helmets, which were needed as occasionally small (and sharp) pieces of rock fell down. The gorge was amazing, with crystal clear...More
