- Jaclyn RSan Antonio, Texas1 contributionMaurizio is the best!I took the cannoli and pizza making classes and they were both wonderful! Maurizio was such an amazing teacher and created a fun environment! One of the highlight of my trip to Taormina and I highly recommend learning from Maurizio. Good company, good wine, and great food!Visited August 2023Travelled soloWritten 14 August 2023
- Dallastraveler49Dallas, Texas190 contributionsYummy calzoneWe found this restaurant before we went to tour the Amphitheater in Taormina. There were 8 of us and we were lucky to find the perfect table. Between the group we had calzone, pizza, salads and a veal cutlet with fries. All the food was hot and tasty. It was thoroughly enjoyed by all. The service was a little slow, but the attendants were friendly and helpful.Visited October 2023Travelled with familyWritten 1 October 2023
- TheNewburgh5Aberdeenshire, United Kingdom16 contributionsLovely Food… however !!!Food very good but they need to work on the front of house service. I totally understand it can be a long shift for them. But asking for an additional plate and being made to feel uncomfortable by the waiter staring at you is totally unacceptable. Lovely food but certainly not sn enjoyable experience.Visited October 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 3 October 2023

The beginning of the high street - a lovely gateway into an arty and historic world. Remember to have a wander down the side streets so you don't miss any hidden gems!

What an amazing cooking experience, so much fun, eating the pizza we made afterwards was beautiful, we went back a few days later for lunch and was faultless. Very highly recommend the Pizza making classes, if not, This is the only place to go for Lunch/ Dinner

Absolutely horrible food, ordered a pizza Calzone and a mixed salad. OMG never seen food so bad, even a child can do the pizza better then what was offered. Basically I was served bread, ham and water, see pictures. Customers toilet is inside kitchen with human waste all over the toilet and some on the wall, itself, toilet door wide open staff cooking few feet away, none of kitchen staff wearing any gloves. Absolutely discussed

Awful food. The lasagna was dried out and burnt. Frozen lasagna is better and this is an Italian restaurant. Pizza was cold and soggy. I was sick from this garbage the next day. Service was just as bad as the food. Absolute worst dining experience in an area that offers hundreds of other amazing restaurants. AVOID!!!!

We ordered 3 pizzas, pasta to share and salads. The food was delicious. The lasagna was cooked to perfection and the pizzas had just the right amount of toppings and the crust was crispy and definitely not soggy. Our waiter, Mauritizo was especially attentive and super efficient. Our order came quickly and the food was hot and delicious.
