We took a day trip from Acicastello and walked the city on our own. We started at the Greek amphitheater and basked in 2500 year old ruins. Take the time to watch th videos of what the fully built facility looked like in the day....More

Charming Sicilian town, great for one day, walking around, great shopping. Small shops for pottery, gourmet food, clothing, and bath and beauty products. Shopkeepers are very friendly. The streets can get very crowded, so start your day early.

We had a private walking tour with guide, Chiara Rossi. She provided great information about history as well as how it relates to current conditions. Tailored the tour to our desires and limitations. Even treated us to her choice for the best cannoli in town.

Taormina is a city in the hill country of Sicily. The cobblestone streets and frequent piazzas make this a very interesting adventure. The highlight is the amphitheater that is still a very active concert venue in the coliseum style. Be sure to bring your bottle(s)...More

There were 5 of us on this tour, we met our guide Martine at Porta Messina arch. Martine obviously knows a lot of people and seemed to be easily distracted by trivial things. IMO, not enough time / information given about the Greek Theatre and...More

Our tour guide was excellent, assisting my friend, walking at our pace and pausing to allow us to shop a couple of places at the end. She was very knowledgable.
