Were it not for the view this would be a dull garden. But it’s quiet and shaded and offers a respite from the tourists thronging the rest of the town. It’s worth seeing but not worth going out of your way to see.
great public gardens in Taormina well worth a visit. stunning views, great photo opportunities. very peaceful place to sit and relax. children's play area, also number of building which are currently being renovated to save them from collapse.

Visited here this afternoon with my girlfriend. Very pretty garden with stunning views and great photo opportunities. Designed by an English woman who later married an Italian. A hidden gem well worth a visit.

I agree with all other posts. It your mum can manage the walk to the gardens and back then I am sure she will really enjoy these lovely gardens. Plenty of shade, plenty of seats. Really hope you get to see them
